Bottle. Dark brown colour, beige foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of roasted malts with lots of bitter coffee. Light sweet. Bitter aftertaste. Very good, but I like the others in this serie more.

Bottle at home. Pours black, bitter roasted coffee and chocolate on nose, taste is dry, roasted chocolate, bitter coffee, light sweetness, perhaps just a little thin.

Sehr dunkelbraunes, fast schwarzes Bier mit schöner bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, schokoladig, Kaffee, dunkle reife Früchte. Geschmack intensiv röstmalzig, Kaffee, Schokolade, dunkle Früchte.

Draught @ 5th Borefts Beer Festival 2013, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.Clear dark black - red brown color with a small, fizzy, fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolae, coffee, dusty coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, lovely coffee, dark roasted and chocolate. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20130927]

Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of fresh coffee, roast chocolate, toasted nuts, coffee beans and touch of earth. Medium body.

Bottle picked up in Amsterdam. Pours black with a thin dark brown head that starts at the edges and remains. Aroma has a great combination of bitter dark chocolate, roasted malts and a rich Kopi note. Flavor starts with the Kopi up front that mellows a bit to allow creamy chocolate and roasted malts to come through.

At Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Black with a small tan head. Complex and well rounded aroma of coffee beans, chocolate and dark malt. Sweetish rich coffee and dark chocolate flavour. Complex, thoough perhaps with a little too much coffee

Bottled on sept 13 2013, large sample. Dark color, short brown lacing. Aroma of huge coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malts. Quite bitter in taste, roasty, lots of chocolate, just a hint of sweetness. Regular H&V heavily dominated by coffee, a bit too much for me actually. Lots of flavor, thats for sure.

Bottle with thanks to MrHangover! Pours pitch black with a small secondary head, brown, dissipating fairly quickly leaving a ring that laces fairly well. Aroma is coffee, roasty, chocolate, bit of ashtray. Flavor follows suit, lightly sweet and good bitterness, some coffee acidity. Coffee and coffee grounds flavors througout intermingled with chocolate, leading to a bitter far finish. Full bodied and creamy in the mouth. Not much ABV burning going on here. Excellent non BA stout for sure, not sure that the Kopi is any better than the regular tho.
