Deep blonde in colour, Barbãr’s creamy head gives off a powerful aroma, unobtrusively scented with honey and accompanied by a bouquet of floral, spicy and citrus notes.

Goudkleurig blond bier, blijft lang hangen. Smaakt naar honing (vanzelfsprekend), caramel en fruit. Smaak is echt zoet. Een speciaal bier voor de liefhebber van wat zoetere smaak.

Bottle, 330 ml. Beer with sweet, honey aroma. Intersting, but wouldn’t order it again.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20131226) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, malts, paper and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, honey, paper, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A way too sweet brew. I haven’t had this beer at least in 6 years and now I remember why.

This is a decent beer in itself, but I just don’t like these honey beers. They are usually too sweet and this one is no exception.

Bottle at The Ale House, Chelmsford. Clear deep golden colour with a strong long lasting white head. Sweet malty, honey aroma. Honey is not over-powering which is pleasing. Has a malty finish.
