Aroma of roasted malt, some chocolate, sourish coffee. Flavour is light sweet and lightly sour with a moderate to medium coffee bitter finish. A bit thinnish, both aroma and body. Still, quite drinkable.

Keg at the Harajuku taproom. Dark brown with small golden head. Aroma is soy sauce, roasty, bit of coffee, touch of smoke (and bacon). Taste is slightly creamy but mostly roasty bitterness. More of the savoury meat and soy sauce thing. Long lasting roasty finish. Bit of sweet malt hidden in there too. Nice and sessionable.

On tap at Ibrew Akihabara. Pours a pitch black color with a small white head. A nice roasty nose. Deep roast, vanilla, bitter chocolate. Awesome.

Not a huge fan of Irish drys, if i have a choice, but the smoky hint gives this an edge.

Tap at the Spektral Lounge, Makati. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is caramel roasty malt, liqouirce, charcoal woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth rich dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet caramel and lots of roasty malt characteristics. One of the better Baird beers I’ve had.

Dark brown, chocolate and a bit fudgey, sweet and has a well balanced chocolate syrup character. Good, drinkable stout.

Bottle at Monday Club Zurich. Burnt and roasty indeed. Coffee. Not too heavy, a tasy light stout.

Gewohnt dunkel, Schaum ebbt in Stout-Glas schnell ab. Sehr interessant.
