A dark and interesting ale, combining fruity hoppiness with a dark, malty side. Is it a porter or maybe a mild? You decide?

Thanks Simon T. Fantastic malty beginning. Typical Ale bitterness, caramel, soft grain. Fantastic balanced, dry and sessionable. Hints of dry caramel and nuts, roast, fantastic Bitter.

15/10/2018. Bottle from Brew Cavern, Nottingham. Pours dark chestnut brown with short lasting beige head. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, chocolate, brown sugar, hint of coffee and mild spice. Medium sweetness, light to moderate roasted bitterness and body. Quite watery and oily texture, above average carbonation. Not bad, lacks the body of a porter.

Old transferred rating. Mild porter is a good description I guess. You could drink a few.
