Bottle. Clear golden body with no head. Aroma has distinct but not overwhelming honey, apricot, hint of Christmas spices and some acidity. Taste is sweet honey, sweet apricot, a touch of cinnamon and balancing acidity from lemon. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Very nice, appreciate the way the honey sweetness is working together with the fruit and acidity to make such a fine and smooth impression.

Bottle, at Haandgemeng. It pours a clear pale golden body with no head. Honey-driven aroma with a faint apricot/peach touch. It's sweet on the palate, full-bodied and smooth, with a nice warmth, with honey the most evident flavor, supported by the same apricot/peach thing found in the aroma. More on the fruity side than the aroma though. Lasting finish. Sort of a peaches and cream experience, but I wouldn't have guessed apricots. And the cinnamon is so subdued I didn't notice until the meadmaker pointed it out. Sure it's a good mead, but it didn't seduce me. Had it again 190711 and came to more or less the same conclusion. 171027

Sample from bottle, thanks Einar. Pours clear yellow, with no head. Aroma is tart fruit peel, apricots and stone fruits, as well as some wood. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is fruity notes of apricots, fruit peel and lactic acid, as well as wood and sweet notes of heather.

Tiny bubbly shortlasting head, clear light straw colored. Aroma is slightly sour-ish grassy, sour apples, fruit stones, hay, dried apricot, alcohol, flowers, grass, minerals, hints of honey and cinnamon. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, apples, grass, fruit stones, alcohol, dried apricot, honey, hay, minerals, sugar, hints of citrus. Slightly sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Nice and clean.
