29th November 2013
Almost opaque dark brown beer with a small tan head. Palate is slightly viscous and with good fine carbonation. Sweetish malts with a little cream. Sweet bubblegum. Fruity spices and mild smoke. Finishes smooth and sweet. Weird! Like taking a bit of a candy floss covered kebab!! Not unpleasant but I could nit drink loads.

Bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Almost black with virtually no head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, banana, spicy and a little peated smoke. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol and a minor spicy burn. Oily. Strange beer. 151013

Bottle, 22oz. It’s a dark brown beer, unclear, and topped by a small, light beige head. Quite spiced aroma wtih roasted malts and some chocolate. The flavor has a little spiced and bitter touch, with dark sugar sweetness, caramel, some dried fruits, a little peppery touch and a good dash of chocolate. Full body, soft carbonation. Long roasted, spiced finish with some dried fruits and a little bitterness. A bit messy perhaps this one, but nice anyway. 130028

Bottle at Deano’s monthly tasting, September 2013. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin broken tan head. The aroma is weak yeast. The flavour is weak bitter with a yeasty pumpkin palate. Pastrami?

Bottle [from trade with Fonefan] shared @ "Press Deans button tasting". Opaque dark brown color, small beige head. Smell sweetness, herbs and spices. Taste malts, herbs and spices, sweetness, mint, peppery. Don’t like the aroma at all but the taste is better than expected. Medium body and carbonation.
