500ml bottle, #22, shared with Leif at Heim. Stable covering beige head, crocheted lacing, coal black in the glass. Promising smell of well roasted malts, slightly ashy. Decent black malty flavours, hints of dark chocolate. Roasted malt-driven end, semi sweet. Quite nice, well-made stout version. (Hamar 29.02.2020).

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Askje 13.10.18. Colour of Coca-Cola. Small off-white head. Fine aroma and taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, tar, dried berries and sawdust.

Fra flaske på RBHD-samling hos Asle Bjørn, okt-18: klar rødlig mahogny med fint skum som varer. Visne røde bær, røyk/tjære, milde krydderurter i en mystisk blanding. Usjarmerende.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Small beige head. Moderate aroma of roast malts. Dry flavour of roast malts, notes of grain and mild coffee.
