Bottle from Craft webshop. Murky amber brown colour. Bit of a gusher. Aroma is boozy, yeasty, quite sweet. Taste is alright, not so exciting, some grain, tripel like, boozy again. Quite fizzy with bit of a fruity punch at the start. Lemony bitter. After that, not so much. Bit boring.

PHENOMENAL GUSHER! Thanks to the owners of the Verzekering for actually getting a second bottle... Pours hazy amber, with a huge, frothy, off-white head that contains dark spots; turning muddy with lots of sediment. Well, that doesn't look too inviting. Complex aroma, however, of ripe green apple, wild yeast, leather, earth, wet leaves, freshly reaped potato, some herbs & spices. It tastes medium fruity sweet and light to medium funky sour, a bit spicy & yeasty; dry, hoppy & light sour finish with yeast & earth notes, some warming gin alcohol. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. interesting hybrid of a Tripel and a Geuze.

0.33l bottle courtesy of and shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a hazygolden orange body with a small off-white sidesticking head. Aroma ls light champagne-yeasty, lots of candi sugar and some mild dried fruit. Quite sweet. Average to soft carbonation and has a mild oily to sticky mouthfeeling. Also really sweet in flavor with more of that nice candid sugar, some yeast and it has some light alcohol in the finish. Quite different from the X but nice enough. 27.06.2011
