Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark chestnut color with orange highlights and a large foamy beige head that lingered forever and left excellent lacing. The aroma was toasty and woody with a coffee presence. The flavor was toasty malts, wood, toffee, coffee, nut and a hint of ripe fruits. Long malt and coffee finish. Med body. Well done.
