Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, Day Juan, 08/09/17. Black pour with a decent tan cap. Nose is chocolate, roast malts, spice, toffee, dark fruits. Taste comprises chocolate, roast malt, molasses, hint of coffee, dried fruit, nutty tang, brown sugar. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a moderate boost offered. Adequate impy stout but nothing I'd return to.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 1. Dark brown, black, little tanned. Smell is too herbal, cacao, mocha, vegetable roast. Taste is oddly vegetable, bitter roots, heavy roast, cacao. Thick bitter chocolate. Quite a mess, not really what I look for in a RIS.

Beavertown extravaganza. Dusky coffee and dark chocolate. Dark and glossy. Really bubbly beige head. Medium bitter. Coffee. Chocolate. But of the bitter variety. Creamy finish. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. Really well balanced, enjoyable stout.
