Black body, some foam, a bit of roasted barley on the nose. It's an okay stout and on the sweet side, doesn't excel from the pack.

Draft - Roast malts and some molasses. Jet black with a rich light brown head. Lots of roast, some burnt notes and a light coffee bitter finish.

Med brown, cocoa, choc aroma is prominent, chocolatey, bit thin/fizzy, with a bitter chocolate finish. Not bad, but I’ve had a lot of stouts like this.

Draught at the brewery
Black color with beige frothy hard. Strong aroma of roasted malt, ashes, burnt paper, burnt bread, cow barn. Dry mouthfeel; the roasted and ashy character is too much for my liking, but it has a nice component of fire oven baked bread; the ashes thou are too much in the final; quite strong bitterness too, with some resins from the hops. Mild sourness from the dark malts.
On target.

On tap at Postmark, pours a dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out oats and light roast - well-balanced on the nose. Flavour is much the same, with oats, dry cocoa powder, and roasted malt. Surprisingly flavourful for the style and very well-balanced. Good stuff.
