Draft @ Birreria Volo, Toronto. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty weak bretty aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty weak bretty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty weak bretty finish.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy bright yellow color ale with a huge pure white foamy head with good retention and some great retention. Aroma of tropical fruits with nice rye malt notes and peppery undertones. Taste is an incredible mix between some tropical fruit, light residual sugar notes with light funky ester and some spicy/peppery malt notes. Body is full with perfect of carbonation. Probably one of the best beer that I have taste from this fine brewer.

22 oz bottle, gifted by Berko. Thanks! Pours a thick, cloudy yellow color with a soap bubble head. An extremely fragrant floral aroma with a ton of juicy grapefruit and other citrus constants. A lighter feel in flavor, with a true juicy red grapefruit and hints of cherry. Tastes like a fruit cocktail built into a saison, which is awesome. Incredible beer here. A stretch to the style in my opinion, but I can’t figure them out anyway. Delicious beer here.

Re-rate: Poured from 355mL can (pkg 10/11/2022). Hazy straw yellow with small white head. A feint brett funk, dry, hint of citrus, slightly weak, but decent. Aroma is quite nice, but the taste could be jazzed up a little. June 08, 2016 (6/3/6/3/13=3.1): Poured from 650mL bottle. Hazy straw yellow with white head. Grass, lemon citrus, mild yeast, very light brett sourness. Light bodied. A bit boring is correct.

A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity biscuit malt with Brett notes, light banana esters, light curacao, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with nice cloves, Brett, light lactic notes, creamy character, very nice. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau 2016.

650ml bottle bought at Park Royal. Pours a hazy blond with a white head. Aroma is fresh and dry, with tropical fruits notes. The body is very light. Taste is slightly sour, spicy and hoppy bitter. Light hoppy bitterness aftertaste. Light, drinkable, good for refreshment.

Aroma and flavor are a bit zesty, the body is very dry, the mouthfeel gets astringent in the final, there is some Brett character, but it’s also rather weak.
2015-03-15, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, as Four Winds La Maison (Grisette), 5-3-6-3-11=28
Cloudy blond color. Blond Belgian Ale, smooth and not too dry, with a light fruity touch, and very light spices; I don’t know which Brett strain was used, but there is no evidence of it.
Now, the Belgians can brew light beers with nice character, elegance, harmony; this one is just simple; nothing bad with it, but it gets quickly boring.
