650ml bottle at Josh. Aroma is fruity with smoky notes. Similar dry taste. Burnt malt aftertaste. Pleasant.

Pretty decent for style. Very smoke forward. Pours black with great head and lacing. Some dark chocolate. Bitter finish with hint of caramel. Tap at drake.

On June 19, 2015. At The Alibi Room, in Vancouver, British Columbia.Only listed as "Moody Ales’ Smoked Porter" as far as I could see.Black color, tan head. Malty, roasted, bitter taste. Roasted aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. A bit smoked aftertste. Sweet, roasted scent.

650 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with reddish hints and full head. Aromas of oily smoke and nutty dark fruit. Flavors of hickory smoke/ bacon, bitter nuts, and a bit of alcohol. Light to medium body with lots of fine carbonation. Quite nice - and smoked ain’t normally my thing.

Dark brown. Thin head. Big smoke nose with light chocolate. Sweey chocolate start, big smoke, depth of chocolate, nuts...complex and delicious.

On tap at 12 Kings Pub, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of rich chocolate, followed by roast and a hint of smoke. Flavour is just as lovely, with a great mix of chocolate upfront, followed by roast, a touch of coffee and very subtle smoke. Full-bodied, certainly a robust porter, with exceedingly high drinkability. Excellent stuff.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown color, almost black. Mild aroma, dark malts, glue, dough. Highly carbonated; it has a good balance of roasted malt and chocolate, quite dry, with a subtle smoke touch.
Well constructed.

Draft - Chocolate, wood me smoke. Deep black brown with a decent light brown head. Lots of toast, some smoke and a bit of molasses and wood in the finish. Pretty good.
