The Moinette Brune is a top fermentation beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Since its creation in 1986 this beer becomes more and more famous.
A melange of 4 special malts results into this unusual colour, light darkbrown going into russet. The aromas of hop and special malts are creating the dominating taste in this beer.
The Moinette Brune combines a slightly bitterness with a fruity touch.
A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for many months in your cellar, will transform this product into a quite surprising beer.

Last beer from my reserves. Today I reached my 1000, might as well go for the best of the best. Smell- weak, maybe acic, maybe malt. Foam- thin, malty, faint Belgian, and roast notes. Head is medium-sized, medium-dark brown-white color. Appearance- resealable bottle, simple and classic looking. Maybe a bit cloudy dark orange, red, ruv=by color. No carbonation. From - snifter Taste - weak malt, neutral, faint Belgian notes. Feels very tamed down. Not bad, not amazing, middle of the road, but still a drinkable brew. Refreshing.

Creamy light brown head stayed on a 4ich brown coloured still body. Chocolate, nutty & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, tingly over the tongue with a smooth back. Chocolate, caramel, nutty, berries & raisin tastes with a tangy, boozy, spiced fruit finish. Very tasty

Glass arrives with a light reddish brown beer topped with a thin light beige head that clings well with thin legs down the glass. Nearly gone by the bottom of the glass. Aroma is light brown sugar, green pepper corns and grain. Flavor is sweet and easy with no trace of the 8.5%. Solid, but nothing beyond standard.

Bottle from Belgiuminabox. Pours a hazy mahogany/dark amber colour with a medium sized beige head. Aromas of malt, dry dark fruit, stone fruits, caramel, fruit cake, burnt brown sugar and bread. Taste is very similar with the same notes as the aroma and a little touch of alcohol. A bit of fizz on the palate, medium to full bodied with a slightly oily but nice chewy mouthfeel. A little bitterness on the finish. Long aftertaste. Very well balanced. Really good.
