Tripel Kanunnik is een 4-granenbier gebrouwen naar origineel Wilderens kanunnik-recept. Een zachte en kruidige tripel met hergisting op fles en een milde afdronk door het gebruik van fijne & edele hopsoorten. In dit bier werd naast gerst, tarwe en haver uitzonderlijk ook rogge toegevoegd, wat deze Tripel een typisch karakter geeft.

Tap, cones in a giant tulip, the flowers in the background are not tulips though. Dry grain, light mineral nose. Clear golden, fluffy white head. Sweet grainy, light sugary base, dry sticky, light ferment fruit salad, fairly clean one at that though. Easy to sip.

Aroma of malts and grains, fruits, spicy yeast, some herbal notes, hops. Flavour is malty and fruity, moderate sweetness, with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy golden coloured brew, and like all of theirs beers safe but with some extra. Well balanced spicy taste and gentle sweetness, very good brew indeed.

33 cl bottle from Super Food in Aruba. Amber orange color. Small creamy beige head. Earthy, bready malt aroma. Tangy, malty flavor upfront. Sweetness from candi sugar. Some yeastiness. Red apple, pear, plum. A int of coriander in finish.

33 cl bottle. Golden, slightly hazy, slightly yellowish foam. Aroma: spicy, lollipops, pear, spices, a little plum, anise. Taste: sparkling, spicy, lollipops, anise, a little sourness, a little bittern finish, a little strong alcohol, pear, interesting.

Tap at Malt Worm, thx Paul! Clear golden body, lasting white head. Spicy, dusty, coriander, light orange. Orange peel-driven taste, coriander, sweet, sugary, with more carbonation it would be class!

Tap at Walt Morm. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. ABV hidden well, classic clean tripel, apples, spices. Quite light feeling, drinks relatively well. Overall good, I like it better than most tripels.

(tap 0,3l @ OP (Brno)) Overall: Nice spicy belgian. Aroma: Spicy, earthy. Appearance: Clear golden. Minimal white head. Taste: Medium sweet, spicy, earthy. Palate: Medium-full body. Sticky texture. Warm finish.
