Nice stuff. Been in Montego Bay about 4 hours and already had three of these. One while floating around in the free beach, another at the Pork Pit eating some sublime BBQ jerk pork and another back at the hostel Im staying at. Roast and some booze with a little caramel. Everything a foreign stout should be. Mixed well with the jerk. Bittersweet end. With coffee notes. More complex than regular Guinness. Bottles all.

275ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves plenty of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel and licorice with a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Nice.

Refrigerated 275 ml brown bottle at a pick-up store in between Falmouth and Ocho Rios. Aroma is chocolate and spice, medium body, and medium carbonation. Taste is chocolate and spice. One of the best beers I have had from the Caribbean.

First ratingBottled 275 ml at John Crow’s Tavern, Ocho Rios, Jamaica, on January 24, 2015.Jamaica version, stated on label to be brewed at "Desnoes and Geddes". 6.5% ABV.Clear very dark brown to black color, big lasting brown head. Sweet malty, rich scent. Rich, malty, roasted, alcohol taste. Alcohol aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.Though the ABV is "only" 6.5%, the alcohol is way too evident in the taste and aftertaste, scent is much better to my personal liking. 8/4/6/3/13=3.4RerateBottle from Seow Edward & Sons Ltd in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, picked up in January 2015. BB 11 Nov 15, sampled on July 31, 2015.Black color, hints of dark brown in it as well, dark brown head. Sweet, alcohol, light roasted scent. Berries, sweet taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.8/4/6/3/12=3.3

Had this at the RB Pgh Halloween Spook-tacular Tasting/Drunkfest fall 2013, nice time at Hornydevil’s place, thanks James & Michelle! Nice clean malty aroma. Really dark. Some co2 in there. A little strong but never over the top. Has some of that metal flavor inthere. Good over all stout. No widget in this can.

11.2oz bottle drank from the bottle. Pretty much regular Foreign Extra with something slightly sour and a little more hops. I would drink it again though given the chance. Much better than the free Red Stripe at the resort.
