Draft at the source. Black with thin tan head. Aroma is chocolate, mild roast, some type of yeast character. Body should be beefed up with a bolder malt profile or oats, something. Thinner side for the style. No real problem but on the lighter side of the style.

A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light coffee notes, and light spoiled notes , herbaceous character, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy hops, nice licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice.

Draught at the brewpub as part of a flight on January 22, 2014.Black color, red ruby hints, teal head. Malty, rich, vanilla, alcohol taste. Sweet, roasted aftertaste. Rich, smooth mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Sweet, alcohol, some orange zest scent.
