Bornem Tripel is een krachtig bier om van te genieten als dessert of als aperitief. Sommigen verkiezen het bij mosselen of andere zeevruchten. Dit abdijbier past ook uitstekend bij een hartige kaasschotel.

Bottle from a Lidl bumper bundle. Huge head and an initial huge hit of yeast that calmed down. Not bad

# 4579; 3/2025. Spicy, malty, honey and slightly fruity aroma. Murky gold body; lacing off-white head. Candyse sugar, spicy, fruity, malty. Medium body, higher carbonation; dry finish. Good, simple tripel. 0,33 l, bottle, supermarket, Bad Liebenzell (Swabia, Germany).

0.33 l bottle. Pours clear golden with everlasting, white head. Fruit dominated aroma with undertoning yeasty and slight alcoholic notes. Sweet, fruity taste with moderate alcoholic notes and warm mouthfeel. Leaves dry, bitter finish. Lively carbonated, medium bodied yet refreshing brew. Works for me.

31/01/25 Aromat przypraw słodu i drożdży, banany goździki ogólnie tripel. Złociste klarowne biała piana. Smak przyprawowy, trochę słodu, goryczka nie jest chmielowa, tylko przyprawowa, raczej wytrawne. Nagazowanie duże, treściwość średnio niska, alkohol niewyczuwalny, nie jest cierpkie, nie jest ostre. Ogólnie piwo jest poprawne w stylu może trochę bardziej przyprawowe niż inne.

Clear yellow/golden color. Frothy thick creamy head that lasts for ever. Nice spic citrus aroma. Flavour is spicy, and crisp. A nice tripel, nothing mind blowing or revolutonary, but a nice solid beer.

Aroma of fruits, yeast, some spicy notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bittersweet finish. A bit boozy. Pretty standard Tripel stuff.

Bottiglia. Sentori di sottobosco vanno a dare soddisfazione al naso. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele, crosta di panettone, frutta secca, agrumi, frutta passita e alcol invadente.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bb 31/07/2026). Clear blonde gold with full white head. Soft Belgian yeast, honey, feint esters, not quite dialed in, lighter-medium bodied, everything is a bit muted here. Would be decent for a North American tripel, but this is a Belgian tripel...
