Bornem Tripel is een krachtig bier om van te genieten als dessert of als aperitief. Sommigen verkiezen het bij mosselen of andere zeevruchten. Dit abdijbier past ook uitstekend bij een hartige kaasschotel.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Cloudy golden colored brew with an slightly sweet bitter taste. Hints of caramel, orange and some banana.

Bottle shared at home. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are sweet and malty. Medium body.

Przyznaję że z tego stylu wypadłem, Belgia bardzo rzadko w szkle, choć z 9-10 lat temu jak piwna rewolucja w Polsce nie była tak zdominowana przez ipki trochę się tych triplów wypiło. Ten egzemplarz nawet się broni, jest dość zwiewny, pijalny, z ukrytym alkoholem, estry, fenole są, spodziewałem się że po tak niskich notach jakaś wada się trafi a jest całkiem ok. No może w wyższych temperaturach za bardzo bananowy.

A: hazy golden, stable, foamy, white head.
A: banana, apple, plum, cake, dough, jenever.
T: sweet banana & pear; dough, yeast, bitter spices.
F: floral, bit peppery hops, ripe yellow fruits, warming jenever-like alcohol.
P: medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation.
Mediocre commercial Tripel but I expected worse.

Bottle 33 cl. Golden, misty, good white foam. Aroma: spicy, sour, herbs, spice, higher alcohols, malt, apple. Dense taste, malt, spice, yeast, dry, strong, bitter finish.

Bottle from a mixed 6 of Belgian beers from Lidl. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of bread dough and light spice (although I did just eat a load of bombay mix). Taste has a hint of pear and frangipane. Light sweet finish.
