On tap at Upper Deck at Launceston Airport. Pours orange. Caramel, sherbet, orange, really sharp acidity and a long sweaty finish. Super carbonated body. Slightly upsetting to see an 'english' style ale that's just a bad amber lager.

(Bottle) Pours clear coppery brown with small white head. Subtle pleasant aroma of toffee malt. Light body, good carbonation. Nice taste, although rather understated (or am I drinking this too cold?) - good toffee malt with some nice gentle bitterness at finish. Pleasant enough beer.

375ml bottle into shaker. Mild sweet malt nose. Copper coloured beer with fluffy white head. Light steady carbonation. Full bodied, light zing. Subtle malt taste followed by distant fruit and bitter hops. Late finish is smoky caramel. Everything is subdued and understated, just as a good bitter should be. Excellent beer.

Bottle, up in the mountains, watching the pademelons eat dinner. The aroma is quite fruity - classic caramel and fruity yeast English beer. Caramel and quite fruity on the palate, bit sticky in the finish with a hit of bitterness.
