Deep brown. Lightly roasted malt, brown sugar, caramel malt, biscuit. Medium bodied. Sweet. Not bad, honestly.

black with minimal head, sweet malt nose, molasses elements bring sweetness, burnt toast. Sweet and sticky finish.

On tap at club central Hurstville. Slight smoky nose. Looks good, this is very dark brown with lasting cream head. Good lacing. Taste is spritzy chalky mineral water. Abrupt sour coffee finish. Interesting. Always served way too cold. Let it warm up a bit.

Draught after the tour at Carlton Brewhouse, Melbourne. On July 29, 2013.Clear dark brown color, small off-white head. Sweet, malty, roasted taste. Sweet, molasses aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Sweet, malty scent.

Pours dark brown with a quickly fading, scummy-looking head.Nose shows roasted malt, cardboard, chocolate. There’s a burnt rubber character too.Rather sweet-tasting, but weak. Flavours include nutty malt, caramel and a faint roasty character. No way I would call this a porter.Extremely watery body really detracts from the experience.

Draught in Jindabyne. Dark brown with small creamy head. Syrupy nose. Sweet and lightly roasty with clean, hard mouthfeel. Soem soapy hops leads to a drier finish with low bitterness. Inoffensive.
