Dark Arts blends four malts and bags of whole hops to deliver a decadently deep and indulgent experience. A luxuriously smooth mouthfeel, is followed by spicy hop notes and full flavours of chocolate, liquorice, blackberries and figs. The finish is rich and satisfying with a lingering roasted bitterness. Our stout will convert you to the dark side.

Dark brown with a creamy, head. A web of lacing clings to the glass. Dark chocolate aroma with roasted, grainy notes. Medium bodied. Straightforward stout with no frills but no real mistakes either.

Keg at Cask. Dark brown with small beige head which soon fades. Aroma is roasted malt, bit of coffee and a touch of booze. Taste is oaty, and a bit of chocolate milk. Not so much bitterness, but a bit of vanilla. Lovely!

[33cl can from Tesco, Warfield.] A glossy chocolate brown pour with a billowing caramel coloured head; aroma of chocolate syrup; immediate hit of deeply roasted malts giving a strong bitter taste over a smooth chocolate malt base with some caramel; and a long toasted grain finish. Excellent.

Can at home. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a big, creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate truffles, roasted malt, rye bread, coffee, pine, nougat and nuts. Roasted flavour of coffee, rye bread, ash and dark chocolate. Has a soft mouth feel, medium body and bitterness. Roasted and tasteful. Nice.
