Sampled from the tap at the Surry Hills location. Pours orange with a gold hue and a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has light citrus and light grains with a bit of bread backing. Flavor has earthy citrus with a light sweetness and grain backing.

330ml bottle into shaker. Fruity hop nose, some spice, some pepper, maybe cheese? Hazy bronze beer with frothy white head. Light steady carbonation. Oily texture, clean refreshing taste. Lingering finish has evolving fruity hop bitterness. It’s very good.

(On tap at the Lovedale Brewery) Clear deep amber with good white head. Nice floral and fruity aroma with some bread notes. Light body, excellent carbonation. Fruity malty start with very pleasant bitterness developing through palate. A nice pale ale.

Draught as a middy size at Macquarie Hotel, Sydney, on July 15, 2013.As "Schwartz Paddo Pale".Sweet, caramel, hoppy, fruity, berry, sugared cream taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Hazy amber to copper color, dense off-white head. Sweet, hoppy, fruity, though also hay and some stable with cow dung scent, a bit off and weird.
