Our honey wheat beer contains 120lbs of honey per batch. As with the raspberry this is a lighter beer and also one of our most popular. The honey gives the beer a slight sweetness and also raises the alcohol content because the yeast ferments some of the honey. We use traditional hallertau hops in producing this unfiltered wheat ale.

Draft at elevations with a lovely meal. Lots of honey and berry on nose. Gold pour. Tatses of raspberry, honey bread. Crisp enough.

12 oz. bottle. Pours cloudy yellow, with a small, off-white ring. Strong clover honey nose, with some light yogurt, lemon, ginger, corn syrup, and dust. Very sweet, with a hint of bitterness. Medium body, with a sticky and syrupy mouthfeel. This is a cloying mess.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a gentle hazy golden yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than forty seconds. There was some light lacing sticking around.
The smell had some light sweet honey with a tad of some graininess at the end.
The taste was mainly sweet through the honey and the element of that graininess tends to subdue the sweetness.
The palate had some sort of a decent sessionability about it.
Overall, this was a pretty good beer worthy of having again.

Tap at the brewpub. Gold/white head. Light sweet aroma. Flavor is a bit wheaty and light honey pervades. Maybe a hint of bitter.

draft at the brewpub - Pours gold with a white head and has a very mild malt and honey aroma. It tastes sweet with ample honey and some light malt. The honey is a nice touch to make it a bit different. It tastes good as a refresher. Yet there’s not enough to this beer.

12oz bottle. Cloudy orange-gold color, not much head. Mellow honey malt aroma. The taste is smooth and mellow, the sweet malt balancing out quite well with the sweet honey. A touch low carbonation-wise, and lacks any hop depth. An easy drinker and somewhat unique, it still lacks in body...too watery. I’d assume it’s a little better fresh on tap.

12 oz bottle generously given to me by Dansting. Pour is cloudy golden and light orange. Full two inch white head that falls fast. Aroma of cloves, grass, hay, honey, wheat and some faint citrus. Taste is full bodied wheatiness with slight honey sweetness and a nice yeast spiciness. This tasted much more of a Hefe to me than a wheat ale. Regardless, nice drinkable beer. Thanks Dan.

on tap-pours a white head and gold color. Taste is a weak honey. Not much to this, but nothing offensive.
