On tap at the brewery. Aroma has a a light sweetness to it along with a fairly strong coriander note. Medium light tea aroma with hints of fruit esters including banana, pear and light stone fruit. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow gold with a thin white head that has surprisingly nice retention considering how thin it is. Moderately high lacing. Flavor is fairly sweet with a moderately strong fruit ester character. Medium strong coriander note. Medium light tea flavor that is more prevalent in the finish. Pear and banana are most prevalent fruit notes. Light citrus. Faint pine character and very faint smoke note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall an alright beer, but the sweetness really gets in the way. It is way under attenuated. I don’t get hot dog water but I can see how a light smoke and some coriander could mimic that flavor.

Tap @ Trve. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Smoked hot dog, tea aroma. What the fuck. Tangy, hot dog juice, lemon, dumpster flavor. Horrible.

Clear gold pour - smells like a campfire in the middle of a pine forest - if you are familiar with the tea, it smells similar, with just a little floral character underneath - smells pretty awesome - flavor is light and mildly sweet (honey), with light bitterness and quite a strong but pleasant flavor of the smoked tea - lightly floral finish - simple, but interesting and well-executed.

Medicine bottle type growler shared by John. The pour is a hazed golden with pretty much no head. The aroma is soft smoke, very much the smokiness of Lapsang Souchong tea. Additionally, there is a nice herbal floral sweetness of the Saison character. The taste is really smoky, very much the Lapsong tea essence, paired well with the nice soft herbal floral Saison. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft carbonation, and a soft smoke finish. Really unique, fun and well made beer. Thanks for bringing this one from Denver and sharing John.
