Aroma of bready malts, caramel, toasted notes, herbs, yeasty notes, hint of dried fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Too sweetish and spicy for me to really enjoy.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Yeasty hazy brown coloured brew with an American-like hoppy taste. Decent bitter tasting brew for the Springtime. With a referral from an old Dutch tradition, seeking lapwing egg.

Sampled from tap at Meibockfestival Amsterdam 2016. Clear, brownish amber with a massive, frothy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy aroma of caramel, brown sugar, some honey and licorice root. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy taste of caramel, brown sugar, honey and licorice root, followed by a short, slightly bitter, rather spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, a bit too spicy for me.
