On tap at Wynkoop, pours a hazy copper amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, piney hops and light biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with Belgian yeast and piney hops upfront, with dry biscuity malt on the underside. Lots of nice yeast in there.

On tap at the brewery in Denver, it’s got a great name: Belgorado 6.7%
Clean gold in color topped with a thick white head from which a wheaty saison like aroma rises. The taste is very bitter with a big punch of floral hops. A clean belgian style IPA.

It has that Belgian yeast aroma, with some clove / spice to go along with some clean grassy and herbal type hops and some fruity hops as well. Flavor is along the same lines. I thought this was pretty drinkable, though not a top example of a Belgian-style IPA.

From my dear brother: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is that of a yeasty Belgian ale. Taste is sweet and piny. Very mellow. Not that bitter. Not that exciting. Not a bad beer, but there is not much to write home about.

Draught at Wynkoop, October 2012, GABF week. Dark yellow color and a lacing white head. Dry hop aroma. Belgian yeast and balanced with hop flavor, what I expect in a Belgian style IPA, even if not as good as the best Belgian examples.

Filtered golden-orange. Oily, lacy head. Pronouced, almost stinky Belgian yeast aroma. Sweet and full of Belgian yeast tones, with some moderate hoppiness to even it out. Overall pretty unimpressive, but an interesting venture.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy amber tinged gold with a lite head. Smells of Belgian yeast/spice. Tastes Belgian in a light smooth way. Hop seems floral. Yeast/spice/nice.
