Bottle from Delhaize in Ieper. Interesting sourish nose with a great complexity of Basil and sourish Lambic. The beer starts as aromatic as the nose pretends. Great sourish but still mild aroma with lots of fresh Basil. Interesting combination, but it fits very well. The nice sourish beer and the basil. The aftertaste is a bit like basil-lemon, hints of horse blanket, very interesting and quite dry. Fascinating!!

Flaske 750ml fra Systembolaget Luleå - Storheden. Drukket i Skibotn 13 Aug 15. Dobbeltkork. Nr. 2 åpner med et lite smell. Aprikosfarget. Uklar. Filmskum. Bra aroma av urter. Pors? Smaken veldig syrlig. Urtepreget fortsetter. Et skikkelig burpeøl.

Bottle at the Pozarevac tasting in Serbia 10242015. Many thanks markoijelena. Pours cloudy golden color, decent white cap with retention. Nose: pesto sauce, herbs, mint. Mouth: far too tart (for me), herbal and too spicy. A bit too adventurous.

Bottled 750ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Hazy orange coloured, minimal white head, pesto (basil) in the nose. Basil rulles here together with mild citric notes. Basil in the finish of course. Not really my type of beer but interesting and likable by all means.

(Bottle, 0.75 l, at Kaisla, 20150925) The beer poured golden and quite clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had basil, tartness and vomit. Palate was medium bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tartness, basil, sourness, hint of sweetness and low bitterness. Aftertaste had basi and tartness. A good lambic experiment. Basil wasn’t overdone.

Bottle split at CBC Clerko, thanks to Bropey, 10/09/15. Very lightly hazed golden topped with a decent off white swirl. Nose is big on basil, funky, citric peel, tarte fruit, wood must, green herb. Taste comprises more fresh basil, straw, damp wood, lemon rind, apple core, barn yard, light acidic nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tarte puckering finale. Decent gear, the basil really comes through and dominates, great to share but not sure I’d want to take on too much of this number!

Bottle @ Voldby øl-messe. Pours yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light sourness, dust, leather, barnyard, light spice, herbs, basil. Flavor is light dry, sourness, barnyard, leathers, little lemon, leather, less spicy/herbal than aroma, basil. Medium body, soft carbonation, dry and light acidic finish. A litlle strange, but quite nice. 290815
