„Tauro Porteris“ – vienintelis porteris Lietuvoje gaminamas iš 5 salyklų: šviesiojo, Miuncheno, karamelinio, šokoladinio ir juodojo. Skirtingų rūšių salyklai šiam alui suteikia tirštą juodą spalvą, rusvą tvirtą putą ir sodrų salsvą skonį, kuris ilgainiui pereina į kavos ir deginto salyklo kartumą. Tai tikras vyriškas porteris.

50 cl bottle @ HeBF’13, BBE 25.03.2014
Aroma has cocoa, some woody notes, malt and hints of alcohol. Flavour has soy sauce, some salty licorice, hay and distant woody notes. Also hints of vanilla ice cream. Feels a bit artifical with essence aromas. Quite typical east European porter.

Bottle at the Pre-Christmas CBC - Clerkenwell Tasting, London - this was one of my contributions. Pours rich, black-brown with a tight beige cream head. Ashy roast nose, hints of dark berries. Medium sweet flavor with dark bread, cocoa, mild char, faint earth. Medium bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with smooth cocoa, dark sugars, charred malts, light roast. Very decent baltic porter.
