Classic heavy bittersweet ‘Imperial Stout’ with a touch of ‘Rooibos’, 11% vol.
Sans Pardon is one of the toughest full malt beers from the brewery. Black as the night, with a creamy head. The high alcohol content complements the coffee and chocolate aspects in the beer. The ‘Rooibos’ gives the beer that extra touch of fruitiness. Sans Pardon the tastiest.

Tap at Before 9: Pitch black with a thick, low, tan head. Nutty nose, chocolate, creamy, berries. Sweet and creamy, cocoa, nuts, berries. Low roast and bitterness. Lovely stuff. Bottle from KBL, 2016: 7/4/7/3/15= 3.6. Served too cold with no time for it to warm up. Black with lace. Big cocoa nose, some soy, coffee, slightly phenolic, big raspberries. Soy and cocoa flavor, biscuits, raspberry, very fruity. A bit thin. Decent.

Bottle from ABV. All wrapped up like a Christmas present. Pours a jet black color with some ruby hues when exposed to light, a medium light brown head. A nice nose of roast and dark fruit, cherry especially. The flavor is anise, cherries, some licorice, a bit of dark ashy roast, milky chocolate, a bit of burnt sugar. Quite nice. The lactose, sweet cherry flavor is good.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours very dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma is somewhat earthy chocolate. With some treacle notes. Med + body. Flavor seems to match aroma, but makes me think of anise a bit. Goes well with 72% dark chocolate!
