Draught@Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Amber orange colour, small off-white creamy head. Aroma is zesty, malty, slightly yeasty as well as quite sweet malty. Some slight yeasty notes as well. Flavour is quite similar, but the yeastyness makes it a bit dull (recently opened or the bottom of the keg maybe?).

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 5 March 2011) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with orange peel, dried apricots and fresh crystal malt aromas. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange, dried apricots, slightly toasty grainy malt and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Possibly not exceptional, but solid, tasty and highly drinkable.

Draught at MacKinlay’s Inn, Stockholm. Clear amber, firm head. Floral nose with some hay. Dryish, clean and crisp with light-medium body. A wealth of English hops gives hay-like flavours and lingering but unassaulting bitterness. Pleasant easy drinking ale.
