Kurz vor Weihnachten 2025 gibt sich eine kurze Reise nach Brünn aus. Da ging es mal wieder ins Pegas, wo ich das letzte Mal vor vielen Jahren mit einer Studentengruppe war und man uns übers Ohr 👂 gehauen hatte.
Das Weizen kommt schön in der Tulpe 🌷 mit Zitronenscheibe 🍋 drinnen.
Es ist ein recht leichtes Bier mit den klassischen, fruchtigen Noten, die aber auch nicht zu intensiv sind.
Es passt sehr gut zum fettigen Essen 🍗🍟 und ist nett erfrischend. Viel mehr ist es aber auch nicht.

Tap at the brewpub with Per. Hazy yellow-golden, white head, a slice of lemon floating... Yay....Decent clove kick breaking through the lemon though. Smooth, soft, wheaty taste, low cloves, vague vanilla and lemon. Decent, clean, needs better temperature control to get those esters and phenols out, but does its job fine!

Keg at Pegas, Brno. Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of wheat buns. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Doughy wheat, mild grass. Low bitterness.

Draught. Slightly hazy yellow colour with a big foamy/creamy white head, that leaves lace. Aroma is zest, some yeast, mild wheat and some grainy tones with a slight tart edge to it. Flavour is zest, some yeast, mild sweet wheat bread and some herbal tones. A bit homebrewish elements to it, but not a bad beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Served with two slices of lemon in the glass. Unclear golden coloured, medium sized white head, lemony and wheaty nose. Wheaty, yeasty, lemony, light banana and watery finish. 5.0%

0,5l (5%) on tap at the brewpub served with slice of lemon. Huge white good retention head. Colour is pale gold hazy. Aroma is quite weak, wheat, bit spicy, banana, yeasty touch, bit clove. Taste is medium malty base, banana, spicy, wheat, medium carbonation, ok for the style, enjoyed.
