Bottle. A little confusing. Commercial description says it replaces yellow snow ale, yet there in the cooler together and there different. Still, it’s nice. Color is darker. Taste, not quite as bitter. Aroma is more juniper.

Almost clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of grains, citrus, herbal, hops. I did not discover the juniper. Flavour is mostly the same. Some light hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Not a very distinct taste, but a nice refreshing Pale Ale.

Bottle at Euston Tap. Amber coloured, slightly cloudy with small white head. Aroma is ultra bitter, b.o. smell. Guess this is juniper! Taste is satisfyingly bitter and a bit herbal. Quite fizzy in the mouth. Nice.

From Oct 2005

Poured a nice cloudy gold with a good head dissipates quickly but remains as a fine partial layer.

Smell is malty with citrus notes.

Taste is malt and more of the citrus. For me, it's a nice taste that I've enjoyed many times before and I'll have again without a whim. Good pale ale.

Bottle, UK import, source not recorded. Backlog entry. Entering my historic scores for US beers whilst visiting New York. No tasting notes kept, just rating.

355 ml bottle into shaker. Aroma of fruity toffee. Cloudy amber beer with thin white head, active bubbles. Full-bodied. Long finish has the same fruit and toffee but with a dry bitter undercurrent. Decent quaffer.
