Bottle 330ml.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light nutty, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, dusty malt, yeasty, sugary malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20131012]

Bottle shared at Partizan. it pours golden amber with a small beige head. the nose is woody, earth, fresh pine, honeycomb, toffee and some citrus in the background. The taste is wood, earth, orange, sherbet, honey, candy, toffee, touch of spice and some bitterness with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium-full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Soft and smooth. All holds together rather nicely.

Bottle from the brewery drunk at home. An American influenced barley wine. Sweetish toffee aroma. But definite grapefruit PNW hop aroma too. Not that I’m complaining. I do like the American influenced BWs. Sweet toffee, grapefruit fruit and some biting hop on the finish. It’s a rollercoaster of the senses sweet toffee, hoppy, bitter all at the same time. Well put together. I definitely enjoyed this beer.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, alcohol and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. 121013

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, light peachy and hoppy. Smooth fruity and light peachy to mild mango hoppy. Mild sweet, lingering fruity and toasted malty. Bitter and lingering fruity brew. Smooth. Not classic BW, nice hoppy.
