On tap. (old note) Amber with a medium white head. Soft and malty aroma with some hints of grain, fruit and some acidity. Fruit, bread, caramel. Body was medium, aftertaste was quite sweet. Ok, but a little thin. Wonder if it comes back in the future? Mälsten Mild was the first beer from Nynäshamns that I drank.

Draught, 4.0%. Quite cloudy dark red/prune colour. Small light brown head. The flavour reminds me slightly of Belgian yeast, only weaker. Quite drinkable.

Bottled at Haket, Gothenburg. Hazy golden-orange with a beige bubbly head. Weak aroma with some malt and caramel, as well as some fruits. A bit weak flavor too, with fruityness and malt and caramel notes, and some hops. Medium body and a pleasant bitterness in the finish. (060824)

Cask Conditioned, Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Dark amber color. The aroma is quite ordinary. Better the taste, malty, very fresh, very easy to drink, with some caramel and enough bitterness. A gentle refreshing Mild (or Bitter).

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Slightly unclean malt aroma. A bit thin-bodied - almost watery - again with an unclean and not too pleasant malt character. Subdued bitterness. Sloppy. 240806
