Draught@Pivovarsky Dum, Prague. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some floral notes along with citrus and mild herbal tones. Flavour is fruity, citrusy with some nectar and mild grassy and biscuity tones. Smooth, and not that bombing in your face, but rather a balanced and pleasant sipper.

Draught at the brewpub as IPA American style. Hazy dark golden colour. Big stable tan head. The aroma has a good grassy hop note. The flavour is distinct, slightly sweet with a good grassy note and a quite hard hopbite, a bit like chili. Not as caramelly as many American APAs, but nice enough.

(Draught at Pivovarský Dum, Praha, on July 31, 2007) Shady orange color, fluffy tan head. Nice big hoppy scent. Nice bitter floral and herbal hoppy taste. Medium mouthfeel, rather high bitterenss. From taste and mouthfeel, counting also bitterness, I wouldn’t call this a double IPA. Though a "single" IPA it is for sure! Maybe it was just me after about a week in Germany and a few days in Czech, but this beer was awesome! It clearly was very different to the other beers I’ve had for the last week or so.
