Bottle from Cornelius. Clear golden body with a white head. Fine carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of marzipan and shortbread. Flavour of white bread and a shortbread. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This is fine but perhaps lacking a touch of bitterness for balance.

Gold with a clear, foamy, white head. Minimal aroma, but it was served quite cold. Grainy.. maybe an unexpected touch of clove. Taste is mildly bitter, finishing the same over a thinnish, light body. Not much to it. Inoffensive.

bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma bianca fine pannosa persistente, colore giallo oro limpido, al naso malto cereali luppoli pane miele note citriche, in bocca è morbida malto cereali miele note citriche ed in fine erbacee, corpo rotondo, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro leggero, leggero diacetile. Hmmm, lota of mixed reviews here, maybe mistaken? Tap at montagna spaccata but had several times in the past. This one is heavy. Clear golden color with a fine head and evident carbonation. Faint smell light mineral. Flavors of starchy malts, grains, honey, hay. Taste sweetish at first with a prominent acidic note and relatively strong bitterness. Body is thick, incredibly heavt and prone to absorb an insane level of CO2 making it fullying and not easy to drink. Finish has some weird lemon aftertaste, so strange. Slick palate after that. Could be an interesting base for an imperial pils or bock, or even IPL... overall ok and funny but not an easy one.

On tap somewhere in Bologna (can't remember where). Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma: honey, lemon, corn, hay, herbal hop. The taste follows the aroma, light to moderate sweet, grainy. Light body, moderate carb, short finish. Poor for the style imo

Al naso arriva prima l’aroma di orzo e poi di luppolo. L’intensità olfattiva è poco meno che normale e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello è di schiuma bianca, compatta e cremosa, a bollicine medie. La frizzantezza è di bollicine fini, a carbonazione vivace ed insistita. La consistenza del liquido è limpida. Il colore è giallo paglierino. Il corpo è snello, non più che medio. Il dolce medio è in equilibrio con l’amaro medio. L’intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva. Il finale è pulito e dissetante. I sentori in bocca sono di pane e fieno.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines, Dalry. Pours clear pale yellow gold, thick white head. Light cooked corn aromas, light herbal hops and hay. Taste has more hay and lemon notes, and a honeyed sweetness. Crisp finish. Decent Helles.
