330ml bottle consumed at home while watching TV. Mahogany coloured body under a medium off-white head. Smell of dark malts. Burnt malty flavour supported by notes of caramel sweetness. Short aftertaste. Thin to moderate palate. High carbonation. Rather low Xmas feel (17.11.2006).

Bottled. Copper colored with a nice beige head. Some malty aroma. Flavor isn’t much either, but some candy-fruity elements is present. Boring, and not much of a christmas beer. (051207)

Another "klasse D" Christmas beer, brewed by Aass under the name of long gone Lundetangen Bryggeri. Reddish brown colour, artificial raspberry candy aroma, weak and watery flavour - not nearly as spicy as this style requires. Weak aftertaste. And of course, too low ABV to be a "real" Juleøl.
