Deep orange with a medium off-white head. Malty and caramel aroma. Sweet with some hops and alcohol present, and a dry finish.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, prunes, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with a weird strong spicy note, some cinnamon, and cloves, but also notes of caramel, alcohol, herbs, over ripe fruits, and prunes, leading to a dry and slightly metallic end. The alcohol makes it thick, but with a weird watery middle. The flavor is weird going off in too many directions at the same time.

60 cL bottle. Pours golden brown, off-white head. Malt aroma and taste. Medium body with a flat blend of malt and hops, some spices - nothing sticks out, nothing special.

(Sampled from bottle, thanks Marsiblursi) Clear deep orange color, big white to tan head. Spicy hoppy scent with some alcohol, bread as well. Subtle malty taste, some warming alcohol feeling. Normal mouthfeel with low bitterness.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Week malty aroma. Not too powerfull flavor, average metallic finish. Oily palate, but I think this is just a normal bock.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber colour with a small off-white head. Roasted malty aroma with some grassy hints. Sweet malty flavor with some roasted hints. Leaves you with a fruity finish with some bitterness.

(Bottle 66 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with a handsome, off-white head leaving small laces. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with some roasted malt and notes of alcohol. A lightly bitter finish. This really was no thrill - and it really hasn’t got the strength or the character of a Doppelbock. 270506
