First blended in 2016, Moonwalk has become one of, not to say, the cornerstone of the Bofkont story. The apricots are sourced directly from the Ardèche region in France and consist predominantly of Bergeron apricots, prized for their intense aroma and rich, velvety character
Each year, we carefully select the barrels that will shape the blend. A soft lambic, bringing a gentle lactic touch, has become a defining element of Moonwalk over the years. Our goal remains the same with every vintage: to showcase the beer's fruity and creamy character, supported by the refreshing acidity of the lambic without allowing it to dominate the blend.
The result is a balanced and elegant expression of apricot, where bright fruit notes, subtle creaminess, and a refined acidity come together in harmony.

From bottle at Wild Festival 2021. Tons of fleshy apricot in the aroma. Rounded stone fruit throughout. Sweet apricot in the nose, tart apricot on the tongue. Good mouthfeel, almost creamy/pulpy. Quite lovely.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orangish golden, thin white head. Aroma: Fruit-forward apricot, subtle funk. Taste: Ripe and mostly unripe apricot, oak wood, apricot skin, tannins. Hints of minerals. Subtle rural funk. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Dry-ish finish. Medium tartness. Nice.

Unclear ochre beer, still and no head. Dried fruit, light coloured wood, other grains, wheat. Lemonjuice, harsh lambic, very sour. Bread underneath, but the acidity (both lactic and fruit-) overpowers. Again some dried (stone)fruit. Lipsmacking acidity, utterly dry, dry-out effect, no carbonation. Another one with alas too "harde" lambic.
