Turf IPA (6,5%) is a beer we made together with our friend Andreas from Restaurant Barr - A new offspring from NOMA
Using some old school hop varieties - Simcoe, Amarillo & Chinook - but with a modern approach of brewing, with inspiration from New England. We added no hops during the boil, but plenty both before and after, as well as three seperate dry hop additions both during and after fermentation. What we ended up with is a marriage between old and new, that you will be able to enjoy wednesday July 5th, when Barr opens.
The beer will be out in Copenhagen shortly after that.

Tap. Pours light hazy yellow with a small white head. Aromas of citrus, lemon grass, pale malts. Taste is hoppy, light tropical, grassy bitter, pale malts, pineapple. For some reason not really hitting my spot.

Draught @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, fruity hops, peach, citrus. Flavor is light bitter, malt, fruity hops, peach, pineapple, citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 120917

From tap. Pours hazy yellow, small white head. Aroma is crisp hoppy, citrusy. Mild fruity, toasted malty. Bitter, crisp hoppy. Dry and roasted. Solid hoppy. Sweet and crisp hoppy. Bitter and dry hoppy finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Aarhus. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 170717

Tap @ Mikkeller Aarhus, 6,5%. Hazy golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, grapefruit, pine and a little fruit peel. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, grapefruit, pine, medium sweet and medium bitter.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, hops, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Tap@Ørsted Ølbar, Copenhagen - light fuzzy yellow coloured pour with white head and lacing. Sweet fruity notes of pineapple and lemon, light sherbet dip, nice hoppy expression, fruity hoppy finish. Goes down well.
