Taster served from bottle at the brewery. Off-white, low head. Unclear brown body. Smell of fruity caramel. Caramel malts in flavour as well as yeasty fruitiness. Dry ending. Medium bodied. Just alright (Oosteeklo, 30.04.2011).

Bottle. Pours olive drab (yes, that’s a real color). Off white head. Nose of grain, yeast, olive pits and exotic dried fruits. Taste of yeast, malt, light and muted spicy hops and dried fruits.

Bottled (from beerplanet.eu). Copper colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some grassy and wooden notes along with mild spicyness. Flavour is caramel malts, some breadyness, mild spicy and yeastyness. Rather bitter finish for a Belgian Strong Ale.

Bottled 330ml (Beer Planet, BB 04/2009)
Hazy amber-brown color, medium-sized off-white head. Yeasty white peppery aroma. Medium to full bodied. Caramelly, hoppy bitter, dark fruity, yeasty. Quite alcoholic. Heavy stuff for being a Belgian ale.

Bottled. An unclear amber with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle ZBF: Poured a coppery brown with a off white head. Aroma is sweet malty. Taste is a nice caramel malt, not to sweet with a light bitterness in the finish.
