Corinth is a sour ale that was fermented entirely in oak barrels with a house mixed culture. It was then transferred into oak puncheons and aged on a large amount of black currants.

Bottle @ X3 clean out share! Pours hazy dark deep red with a small pink head. Aromas has lots of black currants, herbs, lightly tannic vinous notes. Taste has black currants, lactic acidity, lightly estery, herbal.

Nice purple colour, thin head. Big deep cherry/blackberry fruit character. Very tart, touch of sweetness but a lot of big fruits. Puckering, dry finish. Delicious.

Bottle - Dark red Berry. Deep reddish with a decent pink head. Soured and acidic dark red fruit with a clean finish. Acidity hits the throat.

Bottle at Farmhouse Fest, pours a deep dark pink with a medium pink head. Aroma brings out fresh pithy red currants, wild yeast and light oak. Flavour is super deep, with loads of deep tart red currants, some oak, and wild yeast. Pithy and wild, with tons of complex deep fruit in there. Wonderful.

750 mL bottle poured at Matt’s. Thanks! Dark reddish purple pour with a patchy head. Mixed berry, raspberry aroma. Very sour. Flavor is a similar combination, a lot of sour raspberries that seem to be the headliner here for me. Black currant sure, if I knew the flavor more specifically. Love the raspberry impressions though. Wonderfully tart. A standout in an exceptional lineup of sours.
