Bottle split at home with James on the evening of my 40th, 11/10/14. Hazed orange amber with a good sized off white covering that retains. Nose is bitter tropical fruits, orange pith, pineapple, straw, bready notes. Taste comprises orange & pineapple squash, light spice, bitter tropicana, sweet mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light farmy haybales. Decent enough saison.

75cl fles, meegenomen tijdens Devoxx uit Antwerpen, eindelijk de tijd gevonden om hem op te drinken, waarop zo lang gewacht... tja 75 cl en een saison... nou niet één van mijn favoriete stijlen... maar na deze moet ik het wellicht iets bijstellen. schenkt mooi gouden in met witte kraag. aroma van een funky boerderij, hooi, gras, stro, kruidig, hop, gist. smaken zijn die van matig zuurtje, maar niet in een vervelende manier, citrus, sinaasappel, lekkere fruitigheid, redelijk kruidig, zwak/matig bitter, matig zoetje, glad en zacht, lekker fris, maar ook wat taart achtig over zich hebbende. heb ik best van genoten de hele avond tijdens een spelletje Magic The Gathering.

Big creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is fresh spiced, flowers, weeds, yeast, camomile, cloves, sap, herbs, light malts, old cellar, citrus, citrus peel. Taste is slightly sour-ish floral, citrus peel, flowers, yeast, sap, bark, weeds, camomile, light malts, herbs. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh floral mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of interesting.

0.75l corked and capped bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. Looks really nice in the glass this with a big bright white lasting and lacing head over a near glowing orange cloudy body. Not bad. Smells aged, but I don't think it's a particularly old bottle. Kinda herbal and spicy in a way. I get dried clementine zest and wheat. Grapes and green plums. Traces of grass and lemon zest. Yeah, I like this aroma. Funky flavors. Not directly sour but it has a mild tart funkiness. Near gliding oily in the mouth and it's just below average on the carbonation. There's slightly sour fruity gooseberries, a herbalness hard to describe. More clementine bitter zest. Some wood hints. All in a a somewhat complex beer. Mild dandelion bitterness in the aftertaste. Flaska från Etre Gourmet. Gyllenfärgad, mycket disig, ganska lågt skum. Frisk brettad lätt funkig doft. Citrus, vetesyrlighet, kamomill, omogna persikor/aprikoser, brett, kåda, peppar, halm. Frisk, syrlig, mycket men väl avvägd brett. Riktigt riktigt gott.

I held this 750 ml bottle because I was informed that it was flat and maybe it would carb up. Well, it didn’t carb up, totally flat. Aroma is sour lemons, thick bad caramel malt and butt hole.
The flavor is mostly the same with dirty cow manure up front, followed by tart lemons and dirty basement and hints of smoke. Was Brett used in this beer? No... This is just totally screwed, Gosh this is just not good.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy yellow to orange colour with a small white head. Smells yeasty, mint, malts, sweet, farty. Tastes pepernoten, soapy, sweet, yeast, leathery. Bizarre beer. Medium body, medium carbo.
