Bottle. Pours clear golden, large white head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is dusty, herbal, gin, lemon, basement. Flavor is medium plus tart, citric, herbal, juniper berries, oak tannins, light plus barnyard funkiness. Light body, high carbonation; not really off-putting however. Quite a nice beer.

(Sample @ CBC 2016 Red Session, Copenhagen) Pours a murky gold with a fine white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, layers of herbs and juniper berries, very floral, fruity, a feeling of forest floor on a spring morning. On the tongue, again marked by layers of citrus peel, pith, flowers and herbs, quite dry with a balanced acidity, fairly crisp ending avoids the astringency of many herbal beers, the tartness finishing cleanly if abruptly. Medium bodied with soft carbonation Lots of gin character, which makes it very much my thing - I have a definite weakness for beers that channel it. This one is quite well made.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Wow this smells good! It's honey, Heather perhaps? Lavendel, white wine tones, peach puree and sweet apricot. Really fruit and wild for sure. This is how a wild beer should smell. It tastes supreme also. It's really balanced between the extreme vinegar acidic and the fruit sweet. More honey and heather, apples and nectarines. Sour lemonade and yuzu. What a superb refreshing beverage! Seconds anyone? I'm sure ready for more. 14.05.2016
