A fruit pale ale brewed in collaboration with our friends at The Black Sheep, a specialist beer and cocktail bar in Sliema. This is a session-strength pale ale packed with fruity, American-grown Simcoe hops, mango and passion fruit. The aroma is sweet and explosive, a tropical juice bomb of pineapple and fruit salad. Light and dry on the palate, with a soft bitterness balancing the crisp Pilsner malt background.

Tap at 67Kapitali. Hazy pale golden pour with a white head. Nose is fruity, tropical and somewhat tart and citric. Taste is fruits upfront, I get tropical mango and citric, somewhat acidic passion fruit as well. The finish is moderately bitter and slightly dry, even though all in al I’d say the body is full and juicy. Although fruited pales and IPAs are not my thing, this surprisingly alright, especially the balance of it that stands out.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, passionfruity and some mild herbal tones. Flavour is passionfruits, some mild herbal and malty tones.

Hopfiger Beginn nach Zitrusfrüchten, dem man den geringen Alkoholgehalt anmerkt. Milde passende Säure, frisch hopfig, im Hintergrund aber zunehmend wässrig. Mittellanger Abgang, rund, erfrischend. 10/9/9/7/8/9

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of pineapple and grape. Mid dry with light body and crisp rounded mouthfeel. White bread, slight orange and grapes. Mid bitter finish.

330ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, white head. Tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, mango, passion fruit, minimally sugary, pale malty background. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty and tropical fruity, minimall leafy hoppy, notes of mango, passion fruit, pineapple; slightly bitter and mineral finish. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, scattered, prickly carbonation. Quite fruity, a tad too light and watery - nice.

Keg at GBBF ‘19, day one, 06/08/19. Lightly hazed pale yellow with a decent off white cap. Nose is light citric peel, straw, melon, papaya. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, tangerine, melon, hint floral. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with modest hop bitterness. Passable pale.
