The 175 year old style that was created for British troops in India. The India Pale Ale, IPA, Strong aroma of fresh-picked hops, green grass, and citrus fruit. Hop FLAVOR dominate the palate with citrus, pine, and a resinous mouthfeel. Light malty flavors to back up the hoppiness. Finish is resinous but not too bitter.

Bottle from the brewery back at my hotel in Amman. Fairly hazy golden with a small head. Floral hops, grapefruit and light candy in the aroma. When you taste it there’s a big bitterness. Medium bodied and decent for where it’s made, though a little unbalanced.

Bottle: Poured a golden to amber with a bubbly white head. Aroma was floral hops. Taste was similar with lots of floral hops, really surprised they have this nice hop beer here.

Draught at books@cafe. Grapefruit with a medium head, good lacing. Aroma of crushed grapefruit. Flavour is sugary fruit, bitter orange, tangy base. Bittersweet finish.

Süffiger, rund hopfiger Beginn. Weich getreidig, angenehm knackig bitter, frisch. Vollmundig, würzig, langer Nachgeschmack. 10/11/11/11//11
