Great taste is more than the beer in this bottle. It’s classy and quirky and vibrant and subtle. It’s chaos and balance, inately in sync. It’s not something you learn, it’s a second instinct.
It’s old worldly charm with a modern day spin. Rich roasted malts with chocolate a l’ancienne. London and Paris at home in one drink. It’s just a few of our favourite things.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with moderate foamy tan/white head. Light roasted malt and cocoa powder aromas. Flavors of bitter black coffee and heavily roasted malts with initial quick fruity and dill notes. Very dry with a long bitter and metallic finish.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown color. The Porter is not too bad; it has a light yeast aroma too; good body structure, dryish mouthfeel; some chocolate flavor; disturbed by some ashy malt in the final.
A bit rough.

On tap at Bomber, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry unsweetened powdery cocoa and maybe a slight bitterness on the malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with powdery dry cocoa, substantial bitterness and a metallic tinge to this. Pretty dull and lifeless body. Not a disaster but needs some refining.
