Very clear copper and amber coloured body with a large, six to seven centimetre tall perfectly pure white head that fades very slowly and leaves a beautifully microfoamed glaze on the top of the beer. Aroma of alcohol, honey, caster sugar, grain, bananas, cloves and a bunch of wheat - very nice in the nose and incredibly pungent. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich honey and sweet notes dominate with a lot of wheat, yeast, bread and even slightly nutty finish with a lot of herbal aspects and a great sweetness that even hits some spice on the very end. Aftertaste is rich but relatively neutral with a lot of sugars and some pungent malts, wheats and especially yeast aspects - very sweet, but polished with honey and fairly easy drinking considering the alcohol - this one seems like it's been aged for a while which is why it's so nice and easy-going. I sampled this 65 cL bottle, purchased from Silver Gulch [brewery] in Anchorage Airport (ANC) a few minutes before leaving for my flight on 02-July-2021 for US$7,99 sampled in my hotel room here in DFW, Dallas, Texas on 03-July-2021 after returning to the lower 48 after my vacation.

Bottle: Poured a golden with some carbonated white head. Aroma is mix between Belgian esters and underling fruit. Taste is fruity with some Belgian esters and apples. Not sure this was expected but it's still drinkable.
