A light, fresh and very drinkable beer with lemongrass. The Funky Falcon thanks its name to the funky hop varieties that are used. When you smell this Pale Ale it feels like falling in love. Everything comes together in these melony, lemony and lemongrass aromas.

This is a weird one right off the bat. Initial aroma of like, orange marmalade gone off or something. Pours golden with ok head. A little pine. Light bitter end. Cloying astringent peel on the finish. Can brought back from Amsterdam by my wife.

330ml can at Wolff & Beer, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Juicy hops aroma. The flavor follows the nose: Juicy hops with a citrus and grapefruit flavor. Not too hoppy. The flavor is more hoppy and bitter than the aroma, but the juicy notes help keep it in check. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Light to moderate bitterness.

From Stumpf Getränk, at Ingelheim, in august 2023. Best before 07/24. Perfect on the balcony, yesterday with my wife. Classical and refreshing pale ale, dry malt, mineral, a bit soapy and grassy, herbal, floral and aromatic hop, bitter, 16.08.24, at Epalinges.

On tap. Pours gold with full head. Aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, and toasted malts. Flavors of spicy resin, grapefruit, a bit of grass and toasted malts. A bit thin. Resiny finish. Nice.
